Terms of service

01The agreement

This contract is between you and Jose Manuel Sánchez-Cervera Rodríguez, tax number 28755774R, with address at Calle Medina Azahara 4, 41807 Espartinas (Sevilla), España, who provides Parallel under that trade name.

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are using Parallel for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept them on its behalf.

02What Parallel provides

Parallel converts an objective into a recommended strategy, an execution plan, a configured team of AI agents, a schedule and progress measurement.

Plans and recommendations are generated by a model from the information available. They are estimates and recommendations, never guarantees of an outcome.

03Your account

• You must provide accurate account details and keep your credentials secure.
• You must be at least 14, or the minimum age in your country to consent to the processing of your data if it is higher. To take out a paid plan you must be of legal age or have the permission of your parent or guardian, who is then responsible for the payment.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

04Responsibility for actions

Parallel classifies every action agents can take. Low-risk internal work (research, analysis, drafting, scheduling) runs on its own. Anything that leaves the product, contacts a person, publishes publicly, changes external data or spends money asks for your approval before it happens, unless you have configured otherwise in your permission settings, as set out in section 5.

When you approve an action, you are instructing Parallel to perform it. You remain responsible for the content of messages sent, content published and commitments made on your behalf, exactly as if you had performed them yourself.

You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law, including rules on unsolicited communication, data protection and advertising.

05Agent autonomy and full access

In Settings you choose how your agents work: asking you before any external action, doing everything on their own except what you tick, or doing nothing on their own except what you tick. You can also turn on full access, with which they act without asking you except to spend money or buy. You choose the configuration, you can change it at any time, and it applies from the moment you save it.

When an action is authorised to run without asking, Parallel carries it out in your name without anyone reviewing it first, neither you nor Parallel. Parallel does not supervise or review each action of your agents. Those actions are deemed to be taken by you and under your responsibility: the content of the messages, what is published, the data that is changed and the commitments made.

AI models can make mistakes, misunderstand instructions or act on incorrect information. You agree to review your permission settings, the connections you grant and the results of your missions with reasonable diligence, and to turn autonomy off if you can no longer supervise it.

Turning on full access requires you to confirm that you have read an explanation of its risks. As evidence of that consent we keep the date and time, the version and language of the text you accepted, the text itself and the technical details of the connection. Even with full access on, your approval is still required for payments and purchases, for actions you have forbidden, for anything above a spend limit, for what your plan does not allow to be automated and for actions an agent decides after reading external content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parallel is not liable for damage resulting from actions you authorised to run without review, unless it is caused by a failure of Parallel to apply your configuration. This limitation does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence by Parallel, to personal injury, or to the rights the law grants consumers that cannot be excluded by contract.

You agree to hold Parallel harmless against third-party claims arising from your use of agent autonomy in breach of these terms or of the law (for example unsolicited messages or unlawful publications), including reasonable defence costs, except to the extent attributable to Parallel.

06Artificial intelligence

Parallel's agents are artificial intelligence systems, not people. What they produce (plans, texts, analyses, figures) is generated automatically and can contain errors, omissions or out-of-date information.

What the agents produce is guidance, not professional advice. It does not replace a lawyer, doctor, financial adviser or any other professional, especially in matters of employment, credit, insurance, health, education, immigration or legal decisions. In missions on those topics, every action outside Parallel asks for your approval, whatever your permission settings.

Review what matters before relying on it. Inside the product, a result is only marked as verified when the other service confirmed it, never just because the AI says so; everything else is an estimate or a proposal.

07Acceptable use

You may not use Parallel to:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages in breach of anti-spam law.
• Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Harass, defraud, or target individuals.
• Generate content that is unlawful, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Circumvent plan limits, usage metering or the permission system.

08Plans, Actions and billing

• Free accounts include one active mission, one plan per month, up to three agents and 250 Parallel Actions.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
• Parallel Actions reset at the start of each billing period. Purchased action packs do not expire while the subscription is active.
• Limits are enforced by the product. Attempting to exceed them results in an upgrade prompt rather than silent overage charges.
• Prices are in euros and include VAT. Before you pay you see the total, whether it renews and how often. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel them.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings, Subscription. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and nothing more is charged.
• If you are a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw. If you asked for the service to start at once, you pay for the part already provided. The details are on the refunds and withdrawal page.

09Execution and verification

Parallel executes real work. Its agents research the web, produce documents and content, and act inside the applications you connect: email, calendar, code repositories, project tools and CRMs. An action taken through a connected application is a real action with real effects, and Parallel cannot undo it once the other service has accepted it.

Anything that leaves the product asks for your approval before it runs, except what you have authorised to run without asking (section 5). Parallel reaches only the applications you have connected, only with the permissions you granted when connecting them, and you can revoke a connection at any time from your account.

Some results are labelled “simulated” inside the product. That label means one thing only: the work ran, but the other service returned no receipt Parallel could check, so Parallel cannot prove the outcome to you. It does not mean the action was faked. Where a tool has nothing external to verify against, its result is always labelled that way. Read the label as missing proof, not as proof that nothing happened, and confirm it in the other service when it matters.

10Your content

You keep ownership of everything you provide and everything generated for your missions. You grant Parallel the licence needed to store, process and display that content in order to operate the service.

11Availability and liability

Parallel is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that a mission will achieve its objective.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

None of the limitations in these terms applies in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor restricts the rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.

12Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless legally prevented from doing so.

13Changes

Material changes will be notified in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use Parallel after that point constitutes acceptance.

14Applicable law

Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you can go to the consumer authorities or the courts of your place of residence. Before that, write to us: most things can be sorted out by email.
