01The ones that make the service work

They are set by getparallel.net itself, they do not follow you around other websites, and without them you could not sign in or keep your choices. The law does not require your consent for them.

• Session (sb-…-auth-token, parallel_session): keeps you signed in. Lasts until you sign out or the session expires.
• Language (parallel_locale): remembers the language you chose.
• Screen preferences (parallel_carril, parallel_ultimo_metodo, parallel_modo): whether the side menu is open, how you last signed in so we can suggest it, and, for administrators only, the admin mode.
• Your cookie choice (parallel_cookies): remembers what you decided in the notice so we do not ask again. Twelve months.
• Shared guides (guia_visitante): if you follow a step-by-step guide someone shared with you, remembers which steps you ticked.
• Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage): drafts of a mission you are writing, suggestions you dismissed and similar screen preferences. They stay on your device and you can clear them from your browser.

02The one we only use if you say yes

Campaign measurement (p_alta): records the channel you arrived from (for example LinkedIn, a referral link or a campaign name in the link), so that when you create an account we know which channels bring people. It stores the channel and, at most, the campaign name: not your IP address or anything that identifies you. It lasts up to 30 days and is deleted as soon as it has been recorded with your account.

It is not set until you accept it. If you reject it, or never answer, nothing is recorded and the website works exactly the same.

03Third-party cookies

Only when you pay: the payment form is Stripe's, and Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud. They are necessary for the payment you are making, and Stripe explains them in its own privacy policy.

04What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no social media plugins and no third-party analytics. If that ever changes, this page and the notice will change first, and nothing new will be set without your consent.

05Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the button below, as easily as you gave it. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, the notice will ask you again.
