Approve and reject
What agents ask you, where you respond, and what happens with each answer.
Where to find them
What awaits your response is in the Agents tab of each mission. When something new arrives, we notify you in the bell icon, by email (or via Telegram if you have it linked) and, if you enable it, with a browser notification.
What they may ask
- To send an email or a message they have drafted.
- A post on social media.
- A contact list before using it.
- A strategy change or plan change.
- A budget change.
- A permission the mission didn’t have.
- An action in a connected app.
- Review a step before considering it done.
- Think more about a specific step (increase the force only for that step).
Your three responses
| Response | What happens |
|---|---|
| Approve | Exactly what you saw is executed. |
| Reject | It is not executed. The agent continues with the rest of the plan. |
| Send back | It returns to the agent with your comment so they can change it and show it to you again. |
Higher-risk actions require an additional confirmation and are not included in “approve all.”
What is asked and what is not
It depends on your permission mode, in Settings → Your account → Manage permissions:
| Mode | How they work |
|---|---|
| Always ask | They ask you before almost everything that goes out of Parallel. This is the default mode. |
| Everything except | They do everything on their own, except what you mark. |
| Nothing except | They do nothing outside on their own, except what you mark. |
There is also Full access, off by default: agents do everything without asking you, except spending and buying. It requires a plan with automation.
From Telegram
If you link Telegram in Connections, notifications arrive there and you can see pending items, approve or reject from the chat. A lone “yes” is not enough: you have to say what you approve.
